The Northeast Comprehensive Center is one of 22 comprehensive centers funded by the U.S. Department of Education. It serves the states of Connecticut, New Hampshire, New York, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Vermont. It is operated by RMC Research Corporation.
The Northeast Regional Resource Center (NERRC) helps state agencies improve their systems of early intervention, special education, and transition services for children with disabilities.
The Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) Northeast and Islands serves Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. It is one of ten such labs funded by the U.S. Department of Education.
