Comprehensive Center Network

The Comprehensive Center program, funded by the U.S. Department of Education, supports 22 centers that provide support to State Education Agencies (SEAs) "to help increase State capacity to assist districts and schools in meeting student achievement goals." The program supports 15 centers serving specific regions and 7 content centers that focus on specific educational topics. The content centers provide research-based information, expertise, and products in their focus topics to support the regional centers in their work with SEAs.

Northwest Region

The Northwest Comprehensive Center serves the states of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington.

North Central Region

The North Central Comprehensive Center serves the states of Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming.

Great Lakes Region

The Great Lakes Comprehensive Center serves the states of Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio.

Northeast Region

The Northeast Comprehensive Center serves the states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

Mid-Atlantic Region

The Mid-Atlantic Comprehensive Center serves the region including Deleware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

Midwest Region

The Midwest Comprehensive Center serves the states of Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.

Appalachia Region

The Appalachia Comprehensive Center serves the states of Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Florida & Islands Region

The Florida & Islands Comprehensive Center serves the region including Florida, Peurto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Southeast Region

The Southeast Comprehensive Center serves the states of Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

South Central Region

The South Central Comprehensive Center serves the states of Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.

Texas Region

The Texas Comprehensive Center serves the state of Texas.

Central Region

The Central Comprehensive Center serves the states of Colorado, Kansas, and Missouri.

California Region

The California Comprehensive Center serves the state of California.

West Region

The West Comprehensive Center serves the states of Arizona, Nevada, and Utah.

Pacific Region

The Pacific Comprehensive Center serves the region including American Samoa, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Guam, Hawaii, Republic of Palau, and Republic of the Marshall Islands.
