Peer-to-Peer Learning: A Cross-state Collaboration

Posted on March 29, 2016
The South Central Comprehensive Center is collaborating with the Center on School Turnaround, Southeast Comprehensive Center, and National Center on Systemic Improvement to facilitate a cross-state (peer-to-peer) learning opportunity between Arkansas and Georgia focused on building the capacity of school turnaround leaders. SC3 and its collaborators have created a learning opportunity to focus on state support of districts and schools as educators improve their systems, processes, and instructional delivery through school improvement efforts and federal program initiatives, including special education. A blog has been created to help document the project's progress for the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) and Georgia Department of Education. SC3 continues to support ADE by providing deeper technical assistance to build greater capacity for Arkansas to implement its goals related to Low Performing Schools and Highly Effective Teachers and Leaders, including leadership development in turnaround schools.
